DR. JACOB
DE HOYOS

Dr. De Hoyos created Baking With The Classics to explore the intersection of history, music, and culture through interdisciplinary performance. His work emphasizes the historical and cultural dimensions of music, creating performances that are both meaningful and accessible to diverse audiences.

Each program pairs classical repertoire with historically inspired dessert creations, offering audiences a unique, multi-sensory experience that deepens engagement with the music and its cultural context.

Through BWTC, Dr. De Hoyos reimagines the concert experience by blending artistry and scholarship. His goal is to create performances that spark curiosity, encourage cultural reflection, and foster a sense of community. By combining music with storytelling and historical context, he invites audiences to engage with classical repertoire in ways that feel fresh, relevant, and deeply human.
